Set up IPTV LEVEL UP on Nvidia Shield TV

    Install a player

    Open Google Play on the Shield, search for your player and install it.

    Connect by Ethernet

    Plug in a cable and confirm in Settings → Network & Internet that Ethernet is connected.

    Sign in with your Xtream Codes details

    In the player choose the Xtream Codes (sometimes "Xtream API") login. Enter any profile name, then the username, password and server URL from your welcome email exactly as written, including http:// and the :port at the end. Save, and let the app download the channel list.

    Load the TV guide

    Most players fetch the EPG automatically with an Xtream login. If the guide stays empty, open the app's EPG settings and press update, or paste the EPG URL from your welcome email. The first download can take a few minutes.

    Set AI upscaling to taste

    On the Shield Pro tube model, Settings → Display & Sound → AI-enhanced upscaling can sharpen HD channels. Try it and keep what you prefer.

Troubleshooting

If something goes wrong

Picture judders on sports
Turn on Settings → Display & Sound → Advanced settings → Match content frame rate.
Sound out of sync with a soundbar
Adjust audio delay in the player, or change the Shield's surround sound setting to Auto.
Login fails
Re-enter the server URL with http:// and the port; check caps in username and password.

Is the Shield worth it for IPTV?
